Damien Hirst's London Gallery, White Cube, have reported that Damien Hirst's diamond and platinum skull creation has been sold for the asking price of $100 million!The skull, with original teeth, is covered with 8601 diamonds including a large pink diamond, which is worth more than eight million dollars, in the centre of it's forehead.
Hirst has now sold $350 million worth of his works following his June exhibition. He financed the skull himself and reckons it cost about $10-$15 million to produce - still quite a profit!
