From Chicago it has been reported in the last few minutes that R Kelly, the R&B singer, will now go on trial on September 17th on child pornography charges.The charges relate to happenings of five years ago when it is alleged that R Kelly (real name Robert Kelly) video-taped himself having sex with an under aged girl. Defence attorneys have disputed the girls age and whether Kelly was actually the man on the tape.
R Kelly has pleaded not guilty.
